Can Malaysia Truly Change?

Recently I have told a few friends that if I were to choose a political party that I would be interested in serving, it would definitely be MCA. Frankly, it is not as bad a party as some chinese would disasterously describe. For example, look at all the work that has been accomplished by Datuk Michael Chong. There could be more than one Michael Chong in Malaysia and so far no person from the Pakatan Rakyat has proven their worth.

Elizabeth Wong - Victimised?

Let us examine the hottest topic on Malaysia’s politic at the moment, hot on the heels of political comeback of BN in the state of Perak.

Elizabeth Wong, a single woman, confident and can be seen as a figure who does want to see changes in Selangor and possibly Malaysia. Now contrast that with Chua Soi Lek. A married man, confident and can be seen as a figure who had worked with the system. A system which the rakyat has collectively rejected in the previous March 8th election.

For some of you who may have read my blog in the past will realised how I have said that in the case of Dr Chua Soi Lek, it is important to separate what he did in his personal capacity and his political contribution. If a person can contributes and make changes to the system, then it is possible that in the rakyat’s best interest to maintain the man rather than picking another half witted man to do the job.
