Recently I have told a few friends that if I were to choose a political party that I would be interested in serving, it would definitely be MCA. Frankly, it is not as bad a party as some chinese would disasterously describe. For example, look at all the work that has been accomplished by Datuk Michael Chong. There could be more than one Michael Chong in Malaysia and so far no person from the Pakatan Rakyat has proven their worth.
Nizar has been confirmed as the legitimate MB for Perak. It is time for Nizar to do the right thing. Dissolve the state assembly and call for a fresh election. Yes, it might sound like it is not cost effective but it is the ONLY solution as it will return the effective power back to the people. Yes, the people of Perak.

It seems that the ultimate conclusion to this whole saga would once again fall on the Sultan’s hand. As former Mentri Besar, Mohd Nizar has seek a royal audience to inform the Sultan of the motions passed at a supposedly emergency assembly which was held under a tree 200 metres away from State Secretariat building.
Now, I am not well verse in constituitional law and henceforth I should not comment if the above is done rightly so or it is just playing on assumption of intepretation of laws.
But in any regard, the previous PR state government calling for a state dissolution is a good call as it will eventually shift the entire focus back to the rakyat and let the rakyat once again speak on this issue. Afterall, Perak has not only been a media circus for the past few months, in that it may eventually be used in many other places, not just Malaysia as a reference on how things will be resolved if such political impasse were to happen once again.
